Unitarian Universalist Church of Southeastern Arizona

Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Southeastern Arizona (UUCSEA) on-line collaboration site. We come to this site to document our history and our organization, resolve issues of importance to us and collaborate on our future. As a Unitarian Universalist congregation, we are a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) and are part of the Pacific Southwest District (PSWD) of the UUA.

The following links provide access to various categories of our growing knowledge and information base about us.

Etiquette: The preceeding links will guide you to the indicated area of interest. As a member or friend of our congregation, you are invited to contribute to this growing knowledge and information base where it is appropriate to do so. Copies of historical documents whether incorrectly or imperfectly crafted (e.g., existing policy or Bylaws) are not to be edited in any way. They merely reflect the current reality. If they are to be amended or altered, that needs to be done through the appropriate process within our organization. Statements of historical fact, on the other hand, are another matter. Not everyone will agree on what the facts are. In these cases, we respect each individual's view by allowing for alternative records. Of course, if our facts are not that factual, then we want you to bring it to our attention. There will be space for discussion about these misstatements.

How can you have your say? There are two ways. The first is to note that there is a discussion menu item for every page. If you simply want to make a comment on some page or suggest a correction, this is the preferred way to do it. Simply select the discussion item and click on the underlined word discussion. A box will open up for you to enter your comments. When you are done, sign and save them. If someone is subscribed to that page, they should get a notification by email that the page has changed.

The other way to make changes is to simply edit the page. Whether this is appropriate depends on the nature of the page. For example, if you want to make a suggestion to the board about a proposed policy, then editing the policy directly is not the way to do it. In fact, pages where it is inappropriate to do that will likely be locked and a discussion comment will be the only option. However, if it is clear that the page invites correction or extension, then feel free to do so.
