Festival 2007 was dedicated to Doug Adams,
Professor of Theology and the Arts at Pacific School of Religion,
for all he has done to promote understanding of the relationship between the sacred and art.
Festival
2007 was held in Berkeley, California, right across the bay from
San Francisco, from July 17-22, 2007. We were housed in the
University of California dormitories across the street from the lovely
First Congregational Church of Berkeley (FCCB) (located on Dana Street
between Channing Way and Durant), where we held our
workshops.
FCCB has many wonderful meeting spaces, including five rooms with wooden floors of sufficient size to hold our workshops! We had many compliments on the beautiful floors and the wonderful reshaping of the sanctuary to make it amenable for dance!
