Getting Things Done
Yi-Tan Weekly Tech Call #180
Monday, May 5, 2008

In 2001, David Allen wrote Getting Things Done, a book that has spawned a small revolution. "GTD," as its adherents tend to refer to it, is everywhere, from lifehacking blogs to software and hardware that will make you more efficient. If you let it.

This call won't be a tutorial on GTD, but rather an exploration of the GTD universe through David's eyes. We'll look at how the GTD revolution is growing, as well as how David Allen & Co might participate in that growth.

With David, let's discuss:

  • What has GTD achieved so far? What has it missed?
  • Where is the most leverage for GTD to be found? How might David harness it?
  • What processes can help GTD spread and amplify?
As always, an IRC Chat will be available during the call, here.
