What are the top ten question people ask you about our program?

Why are you never home? Where do you really go? Do you have a secret lover that you are hiding? Why are there plaster pieces on our tv?

Are you really there that much?  Is it fun?  Are the professors as aggravating as I've heard?  What kind of projects are you assigned?  When did you get that burn? How did you cut yourself? How many times have you cut yourself?  Do you miss your social life? (Reply: What is this social life you speak of?)  How do you stay awake that long?  Why torture yourself like that?

i don't associate with very many people outside of architecture studio, besides my family, and my ex-girlfriend (on rare occasion) my old-friends don't care what i do and i generally don't care what they are doing, but i do ask them what they do and rapidly forget how they respond, as they do the same for me. to feed an ego, and i rarely remember my responses to their questions. some being informed of what i just said might ask if i care about architecture i would say, more than almost anything else. in the professional world. farmers are very important. my roomamte, and a select few others ask about how my days are .. and i sort of shrug.. or go on an ego trip and tell them everything about my current assignment in a very enthusiastic way.. but what we do is not very important in the whole scheme. what comes after it all.. its that we can someday so conveniently control others that is so important.. maybe people should ask us how we may influence their thoughts someday, how spaces function as a sort of simple machine?? does mental motion(work) count in the same way that a pully's pull mounts motion upon some load on a cord? they could ask WHY IS ARCHIECTURE IMPORTANT? we could respond by further confusing them with explanations of how they are controlled by architecture, soldiers arent controlled by architecture when they blow up a building..the ruins are not architecture, but are as the earth, merely a terrain to move over or around. ruins are a topo Jason Blankenship
