Shrek 2 is definately a must see movie. Considering that i didn't enjoy the first one as much as the second one, i'd say my time spent in the theater was well worth it. Dreamworks does a wonderful job in selecting a film that included laughs for everyone. Not just a pg movie for kids, but the film contains jokes for the adults such as a Michael Jackson reference "wow, i'm a real boy!" The ending is not expected, and provides a wonderful way for the expanding minds of young children to see happiness and what really matters in life. It is a comedy, but there are so many life lessons embedded in it that everyone should take to heart. If you didn't like the first film, seriously consider spending a few hours in the continuation of a tale about an ogre, and his beautiful ogre wife.
