School of Architecture Mission Statement
As a service to the students and staff of the School of Architecture at Auburn University, the Faculty are actively engaged in the development of a mission statement that might become a foil against which their Teaching, Research and Outreach endeavors might be gauged. All should feel obligated to add their two cents into the public discussion of what the school is actually about.

The School of Architecture educates students to become outstanding professionals with leadership abilities who possess design and planning creativity, social responsibility, historical perspective, technical competence, and global environmental consciousness.
The School commits to excellence in teaching, research, outreach, and creative activity.
