kickball monday the 18th! 5:15 at MLK. movie after back at the dud.13-11, a close one. the green team couldn't manage to pull it out in the bottom of the ninth.  but, players dove, flipped, waited for stupid kids to leave, hooped & hollered, and sure got tired and cottonmouthed. another note uel scored 8 of green's runs and 1 of blue's. teams were as follows:
green: team capt crunch jose: drunk rally, cool uel, nick the no-shoed diver, betsy the floosey, courtney the belly-itcher, and (later) matt the idiot who lost the gamed
blue: team leader christian with capris: beer-smelling jerry, rand the liar, daniel good-catcher heath, stacy the wall, rich the rampant radical, and (later) maria the surpriser.

Where is it and what time? MILK park (to get there, go down magnolia which takes a hard right after momma g's past old frat row until it dead ends, and then take a right; OR go down west glenn past the intersection with donahue and past a bunch of houses until you see a playground on your left, take a left. the field is very noticeable from either way; it starts at 5:30 pm on mondays

There is always time for kickball! Come on yall, there has to be time for both work and play. for the record, a softball game was played followed by the slip and slide kickball which rocked! RS was really fun and i think we managed to get a lot done on the sites too. :) -becca

for september 29, FYP had 72% of the players, enough to make a very large team, too bad we had to split up this time, but next time NO EXCUSES and we will prevail!

yay! KB is back, last week was rough without it. for oct 13, the final score was 14-4, the good team one again! i had the best game of my life, catching 2 consecutive balls (yeah so, i was lacking a drink in my hand) and then, at precisely 6:18 pm,  SCORING THE FIRST GRAND SLAM OF THE SEASON! i rock, also FYP had 61% of the players, CMON UPPER YEARS!

sad to say, 10 run rule enacted this past week on the 20th, 17-5, good guys lost, where were you rusty? we want your new spongebob ball YEAH I AM A BAD GUY! BbbbbbbAAAD!

for this week, oct 27th, no KB&B game, no one showed up! i expected all yall to be at the town meeting so i went there and only nadene and "grace" were there, so what was up?! anyways, i guess yall forfeit, 4-0 win for me!I was there  Joey Fante and Rand showed up! - joey and rand

for nov 3rd, only 7 showed, forcing upon those fateful 7 a time of reflection and plain ole frisbee-n-drinkin', cmon guys, come out and play with us

for nov 10th and 17th: kb&b cancelled due to fyp project (since no other year bothers to show up anyways). show up at old lowes to play wallball and 4-square (and if we're lucky, nutball)

for nov 24th : thanksgiving break, no kb&b

for march 4, cubs win uel wins uel wins! betsy had a great fall down the hill on nadenes bunt that turned into a homerun.  rally's first time to play.  nadenes miada got moved into bathroom.  jerry got drunk.  rally drove a stick, in first gear thewhole time.  women learned how to open a bottlecap without an opener.  and betsys "chest" hurts from a direct hit.  more fun in the coming weeks! keg discussion, soon...

for march 9, uel's team won, because rand cheated. 22-22 final score, but uel's team gets another point bc we are cooler.  Whatever. Yall lost buddy, We won in the final inning. Uel is just a cry baby and couldnt hack it. 23-22. This was the best kickball game so far. Yes, we like it when people show up, cause after Fante's team kicked a hole in the ball,(that part added for emphasis, but there really is a hole in the ball) and we had to switch to the soccer ball, then things got close, and the heat was turned up! and no one would have predicted Rand scoring from first on Betsy's RBI infield sacrificing kick. WHUHOO! Run Rand Run! We are all looking forward to the next game! Including both winners and loooosers!

for march 24: uel wins, because somepeople are cheaters, quinton.... o well, technically aloss, but , as momma always said, "cheaters never prosper". final score 16-13. p.s. jerry is no longer ever on my team

for april 15, rural studio edition.  through wind, rain, slipnslide, and darkness, we continued on.  who won you ask? of course, my team, 18-11.  it was a classic edition, sure to be replayed on local tv for years.  highlights also include:the slipnslide fight between rand and davey, the chicago kids not getting eachother out, and jennifer driving across the field, waving.   chicago kids, thanks for playing and being so much fun.

for may 3, we were challenged by the artsy fartsys on their own turf.  started off iffy with their "turf" being pisspoor, but we treked on.  there wasn't enough of them to make a whole team (well there might of been but they played hackeysack instead and wandered off often) so some fypers joined them.  big mistake for them, because, once again, Uel's team rocked.  in the end, it was deemed a tie with a final score of 53-52 (Uel's team ahead by one, of course).   so, KB&B for 03/04 year ends, it was fun. come out next year and let's get next year's fyp just as involved (so we can beat them).
