If you like beautiful voices, soft music, and poetry, you will love Azure Ray.  This sleepcore band is two girls from Birmingham, Alabama signed with Saddle Creek record label of Omaha Nebreaska.  Orenda Fink composer, lead singer, and acoustic guitar player sings in an eerie and melancholy voice that hits every note with such perfection you can not help but love her.  There is a beauty to this music that is almost indescribable.  Each song is composed around a basic structure of into, lyrics, chourus, and ending but Fink weaves silent breaks in that make you want to hold your breath with her.  It is a truly dramatic effect.  The lyrics are sorrowful and thoughtful and can take you away as she whispers, "I am displaced..."  The best two songs are Displaced and November.  If you are looking for beautiful music that you can get completly wraped up in, check Azure Ray out.  I guarantee you will fall in love with it.  (And guys this is not "chick" music so trust me you will like it also.  A guy acctually introduced me to it.)
