Overview (from Website): JPE is a product of the Bureau of Applied Research in Anthropology (BARA). The journal welcomes submissions from a broad range of disciplines and hopes to encourage research into the linkages between political economy and human environmental impacts. The journal is provided free and supported by the Political Ecology Society (PESO).
Accepts: Articles and research papers up to 60 pages in length. Longer submissions must be extremely significant to the field in order to be published. For style, authors are encouraged to consult the Chicago Manual of Style, and refer to the following link: http://jpe.library.arizona.edu/Volume13/Copyright.html.
Submissions are welcomed in English, French and Spanish. In order to gauge the relevance of your work, JPE's archive can be accessed online at: http://jpe.library.arizona.edu/
Submissions: Submissions must include a paper and an electronic copy. Electronic copies must be on an IBM or Mac 3 1/2" diskette. Each graphic should be included in a separate file and it's place in the text clearly marked. With your submission, you should include a cover letter that requests your work be reviewed by JPE, and that your work is original and has not been submitted for review elsewhere. All submissions must include a $10 peer review fee, via check or money order made out to PESO/BARA. If submission is deemed inappropriate for the peer review process, this fee will be refunded.
