Label Printing

We use Microsoft Word Templates to print labels for Books, VHS, DVD, etc.

  1. In Front Desk Files go to Signs and Labels/Books, DVDs, VHS or Princeton Files/ princeton files templates and find the right template
  2. Enter the call data in Ariel font
  3. Proof data very carefully, this label will be up for years


To Print

  1. Find the materials, labels, and cards on the bottom of the bookshelf where supplies are kept (see illustration)
  2. Select Printer:  \\isat-psrvr\libhp   (the Library HP printer)Put labels into the hp printer, face up - right reading - and slide in the guides in the paper feed area.
  3. Go to Properties/Paper Source and select Bypass Stack Tray. This keeps your labels from being used by someone else's print job
  4. Print

 

 

 

 

 

 

To Finish Princeton File Label:

  1. Put new label on small card (they can be reused if in good condition) and onto new princeton file.
  2. Shelve the princeton file in the proper place in the journal stacks.
  3. Pat yourself on the back - you are done!
