Police
1. Dial “9” then "911."
2. Explain problem.
3. Give Location: 40 Avon St. Through main Antioch doors. Head south to Library.

Fire
• Fire in Library:

1. Pull Alarm. Alarms are located near the two exit doors that face the main parking lot.
2. Fire department will be notified automatically.

• Fire Alarm Sounding

1. Evacuate the Library. Calmly take charge and tell people to leave by the nearest exit,
not all out the front doors.
2. If someone will not comply, try and get their name, but do not touch or push them. Simply remember where they are located and tell the First Responders.
3. If it is safe, check CRR lab and Library rooms and then evacuate yourself.
4. Note:  Alarm is difficult to hear in Media Room. Ensure its evacuation.

 

Medical
1. Dial “9” then "911." Have someone stay with patient. Call Reception at ext. 0 and notify of situation. Or call Doc at: x2391.
2. Explain Problem. Give Location: 40 Avon St. Through main Antioch doors. Head south to Library.

3. First Aid kits are located in Library AV room (on the left wall when you enter), Front Reception Desk, Antioch Faculty/Staff Lounge.

Power Outage
• Front Desk moves to all paper functioning.
• Write down any checkouts (name, barcode, title, due date)
• Normal Hours, call Doc Whicker at: ext. 2391. Or Doc’s Cell Phone 603-762-4852.
• After Hours call Public Service at: 1-800-662-7764
• Emergency lighting will last for two hours. Close library after that.

Custodial (Flood, Gas Leak, Heat, Etc)
