Sign in/sign out procedures

  1. All TV VCR-DVDs are signed out in BookIt.  
  2. TVs stored outside the library should be in a locked room, such as a professor's office, with a notice put in BookIt informing library employees of TV's location. The Patron signing the TV out is still responsible for it if they keep it overnight.


Basic operation

  1. To view either VCR or DVD use TV/Video button to set to Video 1 and make sure TV is on Channel 3.    

  2. TV/DVD (1-3): 

VHS-C adapters for VCR

  1. The two VHS-C adapters are located on the metal bookshelf in the AV Room.
  2. The VHS-C adapter looks like a regular VHS tape.  You insert the VHS-C tape into the adapter and it will play in a regular VCR.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

VHS Head Cleaner

  1. The VHS Head Cleaner is located with the VHS-C adapters.


MiniDV deck

  1. The mini DV player and TV are located next to the laptop computers in the AV Room. See AV Dubbing MiniDV to VHS.
