AV Conference Phone
Conference phones may be reserved by faculty or staff only. Students can only reserve them through a faculty member or their department.
There are four AV conference phones available for use on campus. They can be reserved through Bookit.
Phone conferencing equipment is plug and play.
Users can talk to up to two remote people on the speaker phones at the same time by using the "flash" button. Just remember to dial nine when dialing out.
To use as a three way call:
- Plug phone into working jack and power outlet.
- Use the phone system's built-in conference calling functions that work with any phone.
- Once a call is in progress, press the FLASH or People key (you may have to wait for confirmation beeps).
- Then you can dial the next number.
-
Press FLASH or "Join" to re-unite all parties.

Never assume a room has an active phone line!!!
Mike Capron is the Live Line guru and can confirm or deny where active lines are on campus.
Patrons won't know that all rooms are not active unless we tell them.
