Book Tags

If you find a book without a tag, you have two options:

  1. Give/leave book for Courtney on shelving cart near her desk with a note on it.
     
  2. Tag the book yourself, using the instructions below.
     

To manually tag items:

It's just like tagging on the cart. Here's how it works:

  • First, close the 3M staff pad
  • Then, open the 3M conversion station (both programs can not run at the same time, also both are on the desktop on the upper computer station)

 

  • Take the book that needs to be tagged, manually wand the bar code
  • Apply a tag and hold it over the pad as before and verify that is was coded on the system (just like before)
