Note: The Sony IC Recorder is not an MP3 player/recorder! It only records audio and plays it back on the device and the recordings can't be transfered to a computer.

Sony IC Recorder:

  1. This is a basic audio recorder playback device with record, pause, rewind, fastforward, and volume controls. It only records and plays back audio and can not transfer the audio to an MP3 or another type of audio file
  2. The Recorder has a barcode and needs to be checked out in Voyager
  3. The Recorder comes in a ziplock bag along with a set of instructions which you also give to the patron who checks it out
  4. There are two jacks on the top of the recorder, one to add a microphone (the recorder has a built in mike, but the patron may want to attach a higher quality microphone) and a jack for a set of headphones
  5. This takes AAA batteries and is "on" when batteries are "in"
  6. Remove batteries upon item's return
